The Tree of Life is a tool that can be used on a daily basis. It is a visual representation or map of the return route from the Earth Plane back to God - the original Source. The teachings of Qabalah are mapped out on the Tree of Life and can be worked on an individual and universal level so we can relate the teachings to ourselves and our everyday lives, and to the Bigger Picture that encompasses the whole of humanity. Malkuth - The Kingdom (Sephirah number ten)
When studying Qabalah we often start at the bottom of the Tree of Life and begin by familiarising ourselves with the sephirah of the Earth Plane known as The Kingdom. The Hebrew name for this sephirah is Malkuth. Malkuth represents the physical plane; the world we live in, and the way we handle the energy of the material world. We would look to the sephirah Malkuth and meditate in its temple to find solace and peace, to ground Self, and for guidance and information when dealing with challenging issues around money.

Yesod - The Foundation (Sephirah number nine)
The temple of Yesod is a beautiful sea temple. This sephirah focuses on the power of our subconscious and the emotional stability upon which everything is built. We would look to this sephirah and meditate in its temple for help and guidance in dealing with the reactive process (handling emotional reactions), to connect with the Astral Worlds and personal spirit guides, and to access past life information.

Hod - Splendour (Sephirah number eight)
The sephirah Hod focuses on our attitude and the power of Thought. Here we explore the Tunnel of the Mind and become more consciously aware of the sort of images we build in the mind. We would meditate in the Ice temple of Hod to help us examine our attitude and change any images that may be negative to our growth. Hod also helps us to build positive imagery through the use of a Magical Image, to form commitments and to find the Truth of our Thoughts.

Netzach - Victory (Sephirah number seven)
The teachings of Netzach help us gain Victory over our Feelings and lift ourselves out of the restrictions of the personality and up to the level of the soul and the sephirah Tiphareth. Netzach acts as a springboard to the upper part of the Tree but first we have to become aware of how we really feel and explore our attitude towards relationships including the relationship we have with Self. Netzach helps us discover the true nature of who we really are and the magic that lies hidden within waiting to be brought to life. We would look to the Emerald temple of Netzach for creative inspiration, to help us deal with polarity and relationship issues, and to connect with magical energy.

The sephirah Tiphareth lifts us into the realms of the Soul where we get the opportunity to connect and commune with the soul and higher, more evolved guides. The virtue of Tiphareth is Devotion to the Great Work. It is important for us to remember that if we wish to pursue spiritual work and be of service in some way to others, we must be prepared to work on ourselves and help our Self rise above the level of the personality when times are challenging.
