As a logical person employed as a Personnel Manager, I found it hard to comprehend that what we’d all seen had no reasonable explanation. As I closed the curtains that night I thought the world was no longer the one I knew. Soon after this I started to feel the need to learn how to set up astrological charts and began to get books out of the library on astrology. I didn’t know if I was doing them correctly but people whose charts I did seemed to think I had caught their essence and was pleased with my results. I really wanted to find somewhere to study properly. Some months later I took on a new Factory Manager who it transpired introduced me to an astrology teacher through whom I discovered the Maat Organisation where I studied astrology, tarot and the Qabalah during the next 18 years. The study of these subjects were for me, life changing in that I changed my life. Without studying the Qabalah I doubt if I would have had the courage or insight to make the changes I needed and I would like to be able to offer others the same opportunity that my teacher offered me.
I first started studying the Qabalah 17 years ago and stumbled across it completely by accident. It was during a period in my life when I began to wonder what life was really all about. Friends of mine had started to learn astrology and urged me to look into it for myself as they were convinced it was something I would find very interesting. And I did. From that point on I was hooked. I discovered there is so much more to astrology than what you read in your daily horoscopes. True astrology helps you gain a much better understanding of who you are and why you are here. From studying astrology I went on to learn the art of Tarot. The tarot is a means of tapping into your subconscious and your higher mind. It can help you in your everyday life to find answers on the mundane level, as well as helping you understand the bigger issues that are going on as well. After exploring astrology and tarot my training then took me on a journey of self-discovery and inner enlightenment. I started to study the Qabalah. There are no such things as coincidences. After beginning my training my life began to change. My understanding of who I am helped me take control over my life. I found I was much better prepared to make decisions that were right for me. I changed my job and ended up working for local government, training people. This gave me skills I could use to help me pass on what I had learnt in my Qabalistic training to teach others.
